Shipping policy

All items are packaged to order.  Please allow up to 4 business days for us to attentively prepare them for you, unless otherwise noted (see SPECIAL NOTICE).  

2022 SPECIAL CLOSURE NOTICE: Our shipping department will be closed from April 1 - April 17. All orders placed during these times will ship on the next available business day of operation, in the order received. We are closed on all major US holidays to include Easter, Thanksgiving, Christmas and New Years. 

We ship to all residential and commercial addresses in the United States, Canada and worldwide (country exceptions may apply).  Shipping upgrades are available at checkout. 

We ship orders during business days/hours (Monday-Thursday: 9am-4pm EST), excluding holidays and noted closures. All orders are shipped using DHL, UPS or USPS, based on buyers choice at checkout.  Shipping details and tracking information will be sent via email once your order has shipped. We do not offer pick up, delivery or shipping refunds.

Once your package has shipped, we cannot control its handling, transit or delivery activity (ie delays, lost, missing, conduct).  October Fields and its chosen shipping carriers are NOT responsible for packages stolen/missing from a residence.  If you receive a package that has been mishandled by the carrier, containing damaged/broken product, please report to us within 24 hours of delivery. We require photos of shipping materials, contents and the label with a description of damage. Upon receipt of this information, we will assist in the prompt replacement of product.  

If your package shows as Delivered and you cannot locate it, please check with your neighbors or contact USPS for assistance (1-800-275-8777).  If you have not received your order within 15 business days, please contact us so that we can assist in filing a claim for you.  First Class and Priority are not guaranteed services. In the event the package is deemed missing, USPS will not reimburse for liability, therefore we cannot refund product/shipping costs.  In the interim, we are happy to send you a replacement by placing a new order.  If the original package is located and returned to October Fields, we will then refund the cost of the first order (less shipping) back to you.  We highly recommend choosing UPS at checkout!  

All packaging and product materials are biodegradable, compostable, recyclable and free of bubble wrap and peanuts. We use eco-friendly paper packaging derived from recycled consumer and factory wastes. If multiples of a single herb are purchased, they will be consolidated into one bag with one label to reduce packaging waste. We encourage you to reuse all materials first, then compost/recycle accordingly.
